Carla's 9 albums have won her numerous awards and have been featured on the BBC, Dr. Demento, Sirius XM Comedy Radio, Pandora, and NPR’s Morning Edition.

Carla Ulbrich is a clean standup singer-songwirter whose laugh-out-loud songs cover topics such as Waffle House, Klingons, and psycho exes. She is still married to her original husband- he's a unicorn.
A displaced Southerner, who now resides in New Jersey (of all places), Carla's songs have been aired on numerous radio stations, including WSM, the BBC, Dr. Demento, SiriusXM Comedy Radio, NPR's Morning Edition and well over 100 college and community stations around the globe. She's also the Winner of the Plauzzable Comedian of the Year and took 2nd place in the Ladies Room Comedy Festival in NYC.
Carla has performed in venues ranging from Club Med to the MENSA convention, colleges, the Kerrville and Philly Folk Festivals, The Good Karma Comedy Festival Long Island Comedy Festival, Ladies of Laughter, and Nashville's famed Bluebird Cafe. She has appeared as a musical guest on the TV shows "The Revolution" (ABC), "Homegrown Music" (WVIA TV), "Up All Night with Rhonda" (USA Network) "The Other Side" (WGN) and “Songs at the Center” (PBS).
Carla has released 9 indie albums and is the winner of the South Florida Folk Festival Songwriter Competition, the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist Showcase, The Walnut Valley Festival (Winfield) Song Contest, The Logan Awards (for excellence in comedy music), The Just Plain Folk Awards (Best Novelty/ Comedy Album), Plauzzable Comedian of the Year, and 2nd Place in the Ladies Room Comedy Festival (NYC). She is also a past finalist in the Jersey City Comedy Festival (Top 10), Ladies of Laughter Competition, Kerrville NewSong Competition, The International Song Contest, and the USA Song Contest.
